ChitoFlex PRO is a life-saving hemostatic dressing that is active on both sides and can be stuffed and packed into narrow and hard to reach wounds. The dressings quick-acting, natural, localized and effective when applied to a wound providing the medical professional with a solution to control severe bleeding, while also while also offering an antibacterial barrier against a wide range of gram positive and gram negative organisms, including antibiotic resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Enterococcus faecalis (VRE) and Acinetobacter baumanii. Only single strains of most species mentioned have been studied.
