The HemCon ChitoDot is a double-sided hemostatic dressing used for the external temporary control of bleeding in patients following hemodialysis. The dressing is also indicated for the control of bleeding from the skin at percutaneous needle access sites, working independently of the clotting cascade to control all degrees of bleeding while providing an antibacterial barrier. This is an ideal clinic management tool, allowing for quick patient turns and improved patient experience.
